Package Itinerary:
Day 01
02:00pm. Assemble at Departure Point and roll call
02:30pm. Depart to Vaishno Devi, Katra by 3x2 bus. Dinner
10:00pm. Over night travel in bus
Day 02
08:00am. Arrive at Katra and check in to hotel. After breakfast rest for a while.
01:00pm. After lunch divide the groups of students and trek to Mata Vaishno Devi
Temple (13km.). this is a full day visit to Mata Vaishnoo Devi Temple.
08:00pm. After Mata Darshan and dinner (paid by student) proceed to Bhairon Devi Temple (3km.). return to Katra in the hotel at late in the night. Night stay in the hotel.
Day 03
08:00am. After breakfast the day is free to relax
01:00pm. Lunch in restaurant
03:00pm. Visit Nau Devi Caves (6km.). return to hotel in evening
07:00pm. Evening is free for shopping etc.
08:00pm. Dinner and night stay
Day 04
07:00am. After early breakfast packing up and proceed to Amritsar (07 hrs. drive), lunch
on the way.
02:00pm. Arrive at Wagah Border - every evening, just before Sunset, the Indian and Pakistani military meet at the border to engage in closing the border. Its ceremony of pure theatre conducted with machismo, pride and posturing, but acted in unbelievable harmony.
09:00pm. Visit Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, Hari Mandir Sahib – stands in the middle of the sacred pool Amrit Sarovar that gave the name of this town. Dinner in Gurudwara’s Lunger.
11:00pm. Departure for Delhi, overnight travel in bus.
Day 05
06:00am. Tea Break
08:00am. Arrive at Delhi.
