Day 01
Assemble at Delhi railway station/ Delhi airport at at 10:00am. board 12626 Kerala
Exp. departure time at 11:00am. Lunch, dinner and overnight travels in train.
Day 02
After breakfast distribution of educational information about Tamilnadu, Kerala, Silent Valley National Park and Ooty. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and full day journey in the train.
Day 03
Arrive at Coimbatore Railway Station at 05:00am. Board the bus and transfer to
Ooty (known as Queen of Hills) and check in to hotel. After Lunch enjoy the climate of hill
queen Ooty. Visit trek 1.5km. to visit beautiful Ooty Lake. Visit the mall road. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04
Early in the morning Botanical Garden. After lunch Conoor (16km.) Catherine Falls View, Dolphin’s Nose, Tea Gardens etc. Return to hotel and enjoy the evening with music. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05
After breakfast transfer to Mukkali (160km.) the base camp of Silent Valley. Check into hotel after lunch rest for a while. After lunch trek to visit of mukkali village. Return in evening. Dinner and night stay.
DAY 06
Wakeup at 06.00am. after early breakfast transfer to Silent Valley. board the jeeps with guides and enter into The Silent Valley National Park is a unique preserve of natural rainforests. Within an area of 237. 52 Sq.km, it houses a rich mosaic of varied habitats. Out of these springs the amazing variety of life forms some of them endemic to the Western Ghats. The Valley exudes a quite grandeur, a mystery half revealed and half concealed that is part of a story older than mankind, for this rainforest probably dates back to 50 million years. Silently she beckons us to witness the marvelous exuberance of life that expresses itself in an incredible chaos of plants and animals and birds and insects. At the heart of her many songs is a still, deep silence which only those who tread softly and wait patiently may learn to hear.
Packed lunch will be provided. Return to in evening. In evening transfer to Coimbatore Railway Station to board 12625 Kerala Exp. at 08:00pm. Dinner and overnight in train.
Day 07
Full day travel in the train.
Day 08
Arrive at New Delhi Railway Station at 01:30pm.
