Day 01
Assemble at New Delhi Railway Station at 06:00am. sharp.
07:10am. Sharp Departure to Amritsar (440km.) by 12029 Shatabdi Exp.
08:30am. Breakfast will be served in train
09:00am. Distribution of educational information about Punjab and Amritsar
01:05pm. Arrive at Amritsar Railway station and transfer to the hotel.
01:30pm. Lunch will be served and rest for a while.
03:00pm. Proceed to Wagah Border “every evening , just before sunset, the Indian
and Pakistani military meet at the border to engage in closing the border. It’s ceremony of pure theatre conducted with machismo, pride and posturing, but acted in unbelievable harmony.
09:00pm. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 02
09:00am. Breakfast will be served. Packing up the luggage & vacate the rooms
09:30am. Visit Jallianwala Bagh “where commemorates 2000 indians who were killed or wounded here by British in 1919. this appalling massacre was a major landmark in India’s struggle for independence and freedom”
11:00am. Visit Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, Hari Mandir Sahib – stands in the middle of the sacred pool Amrit Sarovar that gave the name of this town.
02:00pm. Lunch in hotel
04:00pm. Proceed to Amritsar Railway Station to board 2030 Shatabti Exp.
05:05pm. Proceed to Delhi.
08:00pm. Dinner will be served.
10:50pm. Arrive at New Delhi Railway Station.
